With so many superstars working with us at Pollinate Group, it’s no easy task choosing individuals for our annual employee awards.
However, there were three stars who shone particularly brightly in 2018. We’re profiling these three individuals and hope you enjoy getting to know them as much as we enjoy having them in our team.
Meet Raghavendra (Raghu) Bugade!
Raghu is our Regional Sales Manager based in Bangalore, India and was awarded the Employee of the Year 2018. He exceeded in his role and encouraged other employees to thrive, while helping foster a culture of support and teamwork.
Murli Padmanabhan, Executive VP of Sales, shares:

Let’s get to know Raghu…
How and when did you start working with Pollinate Group?
I have always wanted to work with a startup social business, initially I began working as a consultant Sales Manager before beginning my permanent role with Pollinate Group in September 2014.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Pollinate Group is a very dynamic place to work making my role interesting and varied. At one particular time I can be engaged in a lot of different projects, often doing work outside a typical sales role. This provides me an extraordinary range of experience and skills, it has helped me increase my work efficiency and stamina. The multifaceted aspects of my role help build skills that are adaptable to numerous positions, opening up more opportunities within the organization.
I also enjoy training and mentoring the sales team to help them be successful, being involved in strategy and planning and building a strong team to drive the sustainability of the company.
What would you say that the role has given you?
My role has given a lot to me and my biggest pride comes from my managerial capabilities and managing teams. The most soothing thing for my eyes is seeing the development of individuals in a team, assisting others reach a managerial level and seeing people live the lifestyle they want for themselves.
Why do you think you were chosen as Employee of the Year?
I think building relationships with other teams, including mine, was a key factor in why I was awarded Employee of the Year. I have always guided people with my expertise no matter what team they belong to, or what field they work in. This approach has helped me make strong relations across Pollinate Group.
My skills being a key team player and motivator in sales may also have contributed.
Where would you like to take your career?
I want to make my future and Pollinate Group’s future equally bright.
As of now my plan is to contribute to Pollinate Group’s vision and mission, being a part of top level management at Pollinate and continuing to share my experiences with other teams about what I’ve learned to help them develop and achieve the macro goals of the organization.
What do you like to do when you are not at work?
I enjoy spending time with my daughter. I also love to travel to new destinations, make new friends and do adventure activities.
What do your family and friends think of your work with Pollinate Group?
My family and friends are very supportive of my work with Pollinate Group. They have also supported me when my work takes me later into the evening, which I am grateful for. They understand the value of my work to help develop our team.
