Pollinate Group at the Social Enterprise World Forum 2023: Illuminating Pathways to Impact
We are thrilled to share our participation in the Social Enterprise World Forum 2023 (SEWF 2023) and the insights our CEO, Sujatha Ramani, brought back from this global gathering of change-makers.
Sujatha will represent Pollinate Group at SEWF 2023, an event that unites social entrepreneurs, impact investors, and leaders from around the globe. The forum, held in Amsterdam on 11th-12th October, will celebrate innovation, collaboration, and the boundless potential of social enterprise to address the world’s most pressing challenges
This forum will be an opportunity to engage in thought-provoking discussions and gain fresh perspectives on sustainable development, gender empowerment, and environmental conservation
Pollinate Group will share its journey and transformative impact in empowering underserved communities through clean energy solutions across India and Nepal over the last 11 years.

Pollinate Group is the Social partner for Smart Energy India Delegation 2023
About Smart Energy Delegation Event
The Smart Energy Council (SEC) will lead a delegation of around 25 smart energy companies to India between 9 & 18 March 2023. Austrade is supporting the delegation with business meetings and networking events. The delegation will focus on renewable energy, storage, and green hydrogen opportunities with Indian companies.

CII Karnataka CSR Conclave 2023
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a crucial undertaking by industries aligning with the national vision of socio-economic development, environmental conservation, and driving larger social outcomes. The Companies Act 2013 mandates CSR for Corporate India, and the outlay and number of companies undertaking CSR have steadily increased.
Karnataka ranks among the top spenders for CSR funds, holding the 3rd position in the CSR outlay allocation by corporates as per data from the National CSR portal in the financial year 2020-21.
To highlight and deliberate on the industry’s role in creating an inclusive growth and development ecosystem, the Annual CSR Conclave 2023 is organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The conclave will bring together corporates, NGOs, government agencies, social enterprises, and advisory organizations to share and learn.We are proud to announce that Pollinate Group will be a part of this event, and our CEO, Sujatha Ramani, will grace the session as one of the speakers.

About Us:
10 Years of Impact, ten years of lighting up the way for women in poverty
Pollinate was founded in 2012 by six young Australians to address poverty and energy access in India by distributing clean energy products to marginalized communities. It paved the way for a women-centric model that empowers women entrepreneurs from within the marginalized communities trained to distribute a range of products such as solar lights, clean cooking stoves, and hygiene products to create cleaner and safer communities that live off the grid. Our work aligns strongly with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with a deep focus on SDG1, SDG5, and SDG7.
To date, we have empowered 1600+ women entrepreneurs, reached 800K+ people, and distributed 240K+ products, saving an estimated 1.42m tonnes of CO2e.
As we draw to the end of the year, we are reminded of all that we have achieved, all that we have overcome, and all that is yet to be achieved. That last point leads us to ask you to invest in our vision of a future where women are empowered, and communities thrive.
