Born with a handful of solar lights, Pollinate Group has grown into a movement of changemakers around the world, empowering women to lead their communities out of poverty.

If you look closer, we’re not normal. Our model, our openness, our ongoing evolution. You might think we’re a little out there. Maybe we need to be. But it’s no longer okay to ignore the obstacles that stop millions of women and their families from living a better life.

When we look back, we could’ve taken an easier road, giving away products for free like short term charity models, or delivering one-off training in the hope it leads to long term results. We could’ve targeted people who earn more than those we work with, or increased the price of our products, just to increase our profit margins.

But we didn’t take that path. And we won’t. You see, we’re relentlessly focused on serving the communities nobody else will. The people who constantly slip between the cracks, out of reach from government services or existing non profits. These are the women and customers everyone else overlooks. These are the people our team understands, respects and cares about the most—these are the best customers in the world.

It’s this focus that means our work has a positive impact, today and long term. Yet let’s be real, it’s not all sunshine. Expanding our reach takes time and encouraging neglected communities to understand they deserve more is tough.
